MahaRERA COC Exam Application Process 2026
Applying for the MahaRERA COC (Certificate of Competency) exam can seem confusing if you're doing it for the first time. This guide walks you through every step of the application process on the MahaRERA portal.
Prerequisites Before Applying
Before you start the application, make sure you have:
- Completed 20-hour training from a MahaRERA-empanelled training provider (like EstateMakers Academy with SIILC)
- Training completion certificate — your training provider will issue this
- Aadhaar card (linked to mobile number)
- PAN card
- Passport-size photograph (JPEG, max 200KB)
- Signature scan (JPEG, max 100KB)
- Exam fee — payable online via net banking/UPI/card
Step 1: Visit the MahaRERA Portal
Go to the official MahaRERA website. Navigate to the "Agent" section and look for "COC Exam Application" or "Certificate of Competency".
Step 2: Register / Login
If you're a first-time applicant, you'll need to create an account using your mobile number and email. If you already have an account from a previous application, simply log in.
Step 3: Fill Personal Details
Enter your full name (as on Aadhaar), date of birth, address, and contact details. Make sure the name matches your training certificate exactly.
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload your photograph, signature, Aadhaar, PAN, and training completion certificate. Ensure all documents are clear and within the specified file size limits.
Step 5: Select Exam Slot
Choose your preferred exam date and time. The exam is conducted by TCS iON at designated centers or online (depending on current policy). Popular slots fill up fast, so book early.
Step 6: Pay Exam Fee
Complete the payment through the portal. Keep the transaction receipt — you'll need it if there are any issues.
Step 7: Download Admit Card
After successful payment and verification, your admit card will be available for download. It contains your exam date, time, and center details (if applicable).

- Apply at least 2-3 weeks before your preferred exam date
